Thankfully, his friend and speaker Meg Bucaro helps Craig discuss things like why women feel the pressure to do it all, Meg and Craig's dueling theories of "Superwoman Syndrome" and the "Myth of Should", why "no" is such a freeing word and how Meg most certainly is NOT getting divorced and how she loves her in-laws (Sounds like a definite suck-up situation being played out on the podcast!). Meg can be found at her self-titled website http://megbucaro.com

Thankfully, Jason is there to put a stop to Adultitis, a common ailment in adults that makes them take life too seriously. Of course, after taking the online quiz to see if he suffered from adultitis, it was not unexpected that Craig would have Stage 2 Adultitis: an aggressive and pervasive form of the disease. Together, Jason and Craig discuss how Jason's latest book "Penguins Can't Fly +39 Other Rules That Don't Exist" can help those that suffer from Adultitis. They talk about eating dessert first, Jason's desire, yet reluctance to buy redshoes due to Adultitis as well as random things like why Craig's wife makes him sleep on certain sides of the bed at hotels, stormtrooper armor, digital art and much more. In his enlightening book, Jason uncovers some of the most useless rules so you can shift perspective and start seeing the world with wonder once again.  Episode 166 – Paul Bright – Digital Filmmaking | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 32:11

Director Paul Bright (@PaulBrightFilms on twitter) sits down with host Craig Price to discuss digital filmmaking. Comicpalooza premiered Paul's latest film "Long Term Parking" on May 23rd. Little did he suspect that his trip to Houston would force him to cross paths with Craig! The two discuss creating films for the small, small screen (phones and tablets), how you think about shooting films with unlimited recording capabilities,  auditioning actors a foot away from a cell phone camera and some of the pros and cons of the available distribution outlets for independent filmmakers. They also discuss how the new, smaller high definition cameras allow for more shot flexibility and how actors act knowing that they can do unlimited takes (in theory) without having to start the scene all over. Also, Craig blatantly tries to get cast in Paul's next film. Pathetic, really. It's a great discussion for anyone interested in making their own independent films. You can find Paul and his movies at http://PaulBrightFilms.com  and check out his vlog Paul's Tub Talk on Youtube.

Thom Singer (@ThomSinger on Twitter) returns to give host Craig Price some tips on being an emcee. Being an emcee or host for a corporate event is nothing like being an emcee at a comedy club. To help with Craig's upcoming hosting duties at Comicpalooza, he decided to look for a professional. Past guest and speaker pal, Thom is widely known as the "Conference Catalyst" and professional emceeing is right in his wheelhouse. The two discuss, what the goals of the emcee is at an event, how to keep things moving along, how to deal with a speaker who goes long. They also discuss another major aspect of emceeing and is far more common, hosting a panel. How do you prepare, how much do you prepare, how do you get quiet guests involved and most importantly, how do you control the one panelist that tries to dominate the time. The two discuss the modest history of Comicpalooza from it's humble beginnings in a movie theater lobby to the juggernaut can't miss festival that boast 60,000 attendees (more are expected this year!). John explains how he had hoped to grow into a hotel ballroom type of space only to see his comic-con jump into the cavernous George R Brown Convention Center. He talks about how he plans ahead (sometime up to 3 years in advance) for upcoming conventions, who they decide to ask and what type of programming you can expect this year. Craig goes on and on about how great John Barrowman was at Comicpalooza 2014 (It's kind of embarrassing), the diversity of programming available (it's really like 10 small conventions happening at once) and the love of beer while waiting in line. Comicpalooza's mission is to provide the best and biggest annual multi-format pop culture convention in the southwest region of the United States, serving not only the fans of comics, science fiction, fantasy, video and table top gaming, anime, music and film, but also as a trade show and showcase for the studios, publishers, and manufacturers in those industries. Geoff Akins Hannah (@BubbleGeoff on Twitter) joins host Craig Price to discuss performing for children. Kids are not Craig's thing. He likes individual kids but not children and certainly not in large groups. Thankfully there are people like Geoff who have no problems with kids and in-fact seeks them out as his market as a speaker. Known as the Bubble Master, Geoff invited Craig to a performance while touring through Texas.  The two discussed Geoff's start with developmentally challenged children, is there a Bubble Cabal as well as a slew of tips on how to interact, entertain and enlighten groups of children.
