A vacation or visit to Walt Disney World is so often about schedules, ADRs, getting to and through attractions quicker, and trying to pack it all in as fast as you can. But there are also so many places and opportunities to just slow down and walk, stroll, wheel, wander, think, and enjoy the views and simple experience. So this week, we’re going to look at our Top Ten Places to Take a Walk in Walt Disney World.

I can’t believe it, but here we are, still together after nearly 18 years, and at Show # 700. This week, I listened to, and answered you, as I take your questions, and we look back on 700 shows… and countless memories.

We head back to Frontierland in Walt Disney World this week, as we continue our look at the past, present, and future of a land that, like Liberty Square, celebrates more than real American history, but fanciful stories of fictitious characters and locations. And with announced and possible changes on their way, we discuss what Frontierland’s immediate and long-term future might look like. And yes… it might just involve some Disney Villains.

We head back in time and way out West this week, as we examine the past, present, and future of Frontierland in Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. From its origins in Disneyland and Walt Disney himself, we look at it’s origin and evolution, theme, intent, changes, and possible future.

I just returned from New York Comic Con 2022, and want to share two of the conversations I had while there. The first is with Scot Drake, Creative Executive Marvel Global Portfolio from Walt Disney Imagineering about Marvel and its place in the Disney Parks and Experiences around the world. We talk about the evolution of the storytelling experiences in the parks, including interactivity and personalization, and the connections the Parks, characters, and stories have with guests. I also had the opportunity to interview Brian Volk-Weiss, creator of The Toys and The Movies That Made Us, Behind the Attraction on Disney+, and his newest project, Icons Unearthed: The Simpsons. We discuss not only this new series about the longest-running TV show of all time, but storytelling, filmmaking, and fandom.
