The show takes an in-depth but humorous look at the world of film. More than anything, Film Geek Central is a new podcast, by film geeks and for film geeks.

This week sees the release of HANNA MONTANA: THE MOVIE starring Miley Cyrus and her leech/father Billy Ray Cyrus. But that's not all, we also get DRAGONBALL, the live-action American film based on the excruciating anime series.

And Scott takes a look at the AFTER DARK HORRORFEST III, which has just been released to DVD.
Change of plans! Due to some rotten circumstances, we will be refocusing this week's show on some film that have hit DVD recently. We'll take a look at SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE, KILLSHOT, SEVEN POUNDS, QUANTUM OF SOLACE, BOLT, ELEGY, SYNECDOCHE NEW YORK, CHOCOLATE, and more.
Remakes galore as Disney unveils RACE TO WITCH MOUNTAIN, this time starring Duane Johnson, a.k.a. the Rock. Also, the flashy remake of Wes Craven's gritty cult classic, LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT hits screens. And we'll take a look at MISS MARCH, which as far as we know, isn't a remake of anything. And the indie horror film SHUTTLE creeps onto a handful of screens. Also this week on DVD, we'll check out TWILIGHT, PUNISHER: WAR ZONE and I'VE LOVED YOU SO LONG.
This week, we'll take a look at Steven Soderbergh's four hour plus epic, CHE. Also, a look at the new Elle Fanning (that's Dakota's little sister) film, PHOEBE IN WONDERLAND. Plus, a look at a mob film film with great buzz, GOMORRAH.
