US September factory orders came in -1.0% over the month - slightly more than consensus anticipated.
A good night: FTSE flat, DAX +0.9%, Dow +0.9%, S&P +1.2%; US health care stocks did well.
Mixed night: FTSE -0.5%, DAX +0.5%, Dow and S&P both -0.5%; Dow +9.1 and S&P +8.3 for October.
