5/12/2013 David Rountree and Tracy Ray talk about the physics of the Paranormal | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 6586

This week Eric, Lon and Sean welcome back Paranormal Investigator, Author and Lecturer David Rountree and for the first time we welcome Psychic, Medium, Empath and Paranormal Researcher Tracy Ray. About David M. Rountree: Author, Lecturer, Paranormal Researcher David was born in 1954 in Suffolk, Virginia, but moved to Delray Beach, Florida, in the fall of 1963, where he first became interested in the paranormal. In 1965, his next door next door neighbor, Fred W. Grosstuck, a retired college professor and pattern maker, gave him a book called "Adventures in the Paranormal", essentially a collection of short stories of events from all over the world that were scientifically unexplainable. Fred also introduced him to Fate magazine. He proceeded to read every book about the paranormal he could get his hands on. He participated in the exploration of his first "haunted house" at the age of 17 in Boynton Beach, Florida. He received his B.S.E.E. in 1973 while serving in the Air Force, in microwave technology. In November of 2007 he received his Masters in Electronic Engineering in Digital Signal Processing. In 1978 he was certified as an audio engineer and in 1985 as an acoustic engineer. David worked in the entertainment industry as a Technical Director, Lighting Designer and Audio Engineer for over twenty years. He retired from the University of Florida in 2001. Currently David is Manager of Public Address Communications Technologies and Director of the Audio Research and Development Lab for the third largest public transportation corporation in the nation. He is currently working on his doctorate in physics. David is a professional member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Audio Engineering Society, the International Frequency Sensor Association, and is also affiliated with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He was recently invited to join the Mathematics Association of America. David began his research into the paranormal professionally in 1976, and has investigated cases scientifically from Rhode Island to Key West, Florida. David has experimented with both scientific as well as metaphysical techniques in his study of unexplained occurrences. Over the course of his research he was able to confirm EVP was not related to sound by the use of a Bell Jar, a vacuum pump, a Shure dynamic microphone and a TEAC A-4010S Reel to Reel recorder. Due to several encounters of a very negative nature from 1985-87, he made the decision to concentrate on the scientific research concerning the phenomena, and not the metaphysical aspects of the events. In 1992 David formed a new organization, Scientific Paranormal Investigative Research Information and Technology (S.P.I.R.I.T.), and began a long and painstaking process of collecting, building and focusing a battery of hi-tech instrumentation to concentrate on laboratory and field experimentation to search for the cause of paranormal phenomena. By 1998 his focus of research had narrowed to phenomena specific to “Hauntings”. His primary focus since 1998 has been EVP research, employing his background of audio engineering and psychoacoustics. In 2005 David successfully linked electromagnetic fields as the primary source of EVPs. In 2010 he discovered that paranormal related EMF was an emergent phenomenon. This has spawned his Wormhole Hypothesis explanation of a paranormal event horizon as a source for paranormal activity. He continues to look for answers in science for paranormal phenomena. David's additional areas of research includes investigating the relationship between free air conductance, magnetic fields, radioactive emissions, electromagnetic fields and other electrical radiation surrounding paranormal phenomena. He is also experimenting with injecting energy into a paranormal event horizon using Tesla Coil technology in order to observe and record the effects. He continues to measure the effects of massive(continued)

 4/14/22013 Christopher O'Brien stops by BTE Radio | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 7225

Eric, Lon and Sean welcome Paranormal Researcher, Author and Radio Co-Host Christopher O'Brien. we'll be discussing his decades of research in the west, involving UFO's, Cryptids and other strange phenomenon! From 1992 to 2002 investigative journalist Christopher O'Brien investigated hundreds of unexplained events reported in the San Luis Valley—located in South-central Colorado/North Central New Mexico. Working with area county law enforcement officials, ex-military members, ranchers and an extensive network of skywatcher/investigators, he documented what may have been the most intense wave of unexplained activity ever seen in a single region of North America. His ten-plus year investigation resulted in the three books of his “mysterious valley” trilogy, The Mysterious Valley, Enter the Valley, (both St Martins Press) and Secrets of the Mysterious Valley (AUP). His field investigation of UFO reports, unexplained livestock deaths, Native American legends, cryptozoology, secret military activity and the unique folklore, found in the world's largest alpine valley, has produced one of the largest databases of unusual occurrences gathered from a single geographic region. His latest book Stalking the Tricksters was released by Adventures Unlimited Press in 2007, distills his years of field investigation and research into an ingenious unified field theory that addresses the apparent interrelatedness between divergent paranormal phenomena. His new book, Stalking the Herd to be published this Fall will be the first comprehensive book examining the various theories concerning the on-going cattle mutilation mystery. O’Brien has appeared on numerous TV shows and radio programs around the world including, Ancient Aliens, Coast to Coast, UFO Hunters, Inside Edition, Extra, Sightings, Encounters, Unsolved Mysteries and his investigations have been featured by the History, Learning, Travel and Discovery Channels, the BBC, Nippon TV, the Associated Press, Denver Post, Albuquerque Journal, Fate, UFO Magazine and many other publications and media outlets. Kelly L. Weaver is the Founder of the Spirit Association of Pennsylvania formerly known as the Capital Ghost Forum. Kelly grew up in a haunted 19th century home in Hummelstown and at an early age discovered she could detect and communicate with the spirits present. An artist by passion, education and profession, Kelly left the corporate world in 1997 to open her own business - Kelly's Magical Garden ( www.kellysmagicalgarden.com ) - which provides Aromatherapy Products and Services. (She is a Certified Aromatherapist and a Reiki Master Practitioner) A gifted psychic, Kelly's Readings have amazed and helped clients locally and nationwide; her classes on After Death Communication, Intuition and Angels are constantly filled. She regularly speaks at local colleges and organizations on Ghosts and a variety of Metaphysical subjects. She is a represenative of the American Ghost Society and the Academy of Religion and Physical Research. "Roo" is often found "playing" in her herb and flower gardens, or absorbed in a book on some esoteric subject. Kelly's first book, "Whispers in the Attic - Living With the Dead" was published in June 2004. It can purchased when visiting the Magical Garden or by mail. It is available on line at Amazon.com and in several mid-state PA locations Meditation CD's and a DVD on After Death Communication were introduced in 2007. John Weaver is an art director/illustrator and photographer who investigates hauntings with his psychic-medium wife, Kelly. Fundamentally a "skeptic", John uses his wife as part of the "equipment" to determine and even stimulate the presence of paranormal activity which he documents with still and video cameras. Working with Kelly has resulted in his experiencing several dramatic encounters with ghosts ranging from hearing disembodied voices to touches to seeing (together with Kelly) the full apparition of their beloved German Shepherd, Bleu. He has an Art Degree and reads extensively on various historical subjects, concentrating on the Civil War, World War II and Transatlantic Ocean Liners. His interest in the paranormal also includes UFOs, fostered by a well-documented sighting when 13 years old. John has been a hockey goaltender for over 30 years and is a sports car enthusiast and avid fan of open-wheel motor racing. ABOUT The Spirit Society of PA. - Formerly the Capital Ghost Forum, the Spirit Society of PA remains a non-profit interest group dedicated to exploring ghosts, hauntings and other paranormal phenomenon. We have expanded our scope to include a wide spectrum of "life after life" subjects. We conduct investigations of sites that are reported to be haunted, obtaining photographic, video, audio and other documentation using common-sense protocols designed to ensure that natural events are not mistaken for evidence of the paranormal. SSP was founded as the Capital Ghost Forum in 1996 by Kelly Weaver, a psychic-medium who grew up in a haunted 19th Century home and her husband John, who relys on a variety of equipment to substantiate her findings. Unlike some groups, we recognize the contributions of responsible intuitives (those who have demonstrated their talent and remain in control of their emotions) and their ability to direct us to and even attract activity. However, we are also committed to obtaining correlating evidence of the validity of their observations through video, photo, audio, EM and thermal data. (Our investigation protocols are based on those established by Troy Taylor and the American Ghost Society, for which SSP Founder Kelly Weaver is a Regional Investigator. www.spiritsocietyofpa.com
