My Trancefixion Podcast started back in January 2009 and has reached episode 100 and currently gets about 3000-3500 downloads monthly (total includes all episodes) mainly from Europe, U.K., Asia, and U.S.A. For the past while I was thinking of what to do for this episode to make it extra special so I decided to create a 2 hour mix of the tracks that got me into Trance music. Growing up mainly with Hip Hop, R&B and House music, Trance came into my life around the age of 17 and I became intrigued with the genre. I loved the uplifting melodies, the emotional rush it gave you to making the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. It was hard for me to follow the music back then because it was really underground and it didn't make sense for me to spend $40 on a CD-R mixtape or $30 on a TDK casette lol. I also didn't collect vinyl at that time and the Internet was just starting to become popular so the only time I would hear Trance was at clubs or raves. I'm probably missing a lot of classic Trance tracks that should be on this mix but here are tracks from the late 90s,early 2000's that were in my collection.
