Issues Under Fire

While Democrats are being called out for being obstructionist, the reality is, as the opposition Party, they're merely responding to the needs and demands of their constituents. This is every political Party's primary responsibility. On the other hand, the GOP controls the House, the Senate and the Oval Office. And with all that power, comes all the responsibility for keeping the government open 24/7, 365 days per year. No matter what deals, compromises or accommodations must be made to make that happen, that's the expectation. Any excuses for doing anything less is just Bullshit.

By every measure, these innocents did nothing wrong other than following their parents wherever they were told to. Its what children do. Americans understand these children had no choice, no option or any way to protest. They know most of the kids were too young to even know what they were running from, let alone where they were running to. They know America is the only country the Dreamers call home. They know families will be torn apart. So, the question is, why would the GOP do this very mean thing? And no, this is not a rhetorical question. We got the answer.

This new slick twist on JFK's "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what can you do for your country" might sway some casual observers. Especially those who know little about the world beyond their own suburban and rural communities. They'll ask, why should Americans let people immigrate to the United States unless they can demonstrate their value. And since people who come from poverty-stricken, underdeveloped or war-torn countries (aka Shitholes) are less likely to have much more than perseverance and potential to offer, they'll be the ones most likely rejected out of hand. Affluent Western European countries will be far more appealing to Americans who want to make America great again.

In order to solve a major crime, it's always a good idea to gather the facts. So, we'll start with what we know. We know the United States rebounded well from the financial crisis left by the George W. Bush administration in 2008. We know the United States repaired its international reputation after ending direct combat operations in Iraq in 2011. We know relations with Iran was significantly improved when a deal was reached over Tehran's nuclear ambitions in 2015. We know the United States was in good standing with the international community when President Obama left office last year. And by all accounts, America had regained its stature as a trusted world leader and its only superpower. So, WTF Happened?

A master of media manipulation, Donald Trump has managed to feed a shit-load of red meat to his base, while giving the mainstream media a red hot issue to feast on for the next few news cycles. Hardcore Trump supporters loved what he said about Haiti and Africa. Some have waited a lifetime to hear "their" president publicly express those sentiments. Trump one of us, they'll say. Black and Brown people are not. Trump wants to make America White again and that means purging America of color. Now whose gonna care about some boring Russia investigation when you've got the nation refocused and fixated on racial strife.

With ICE ramping up activities like raiding 7-11 stores looking for undocumented employees, while reviewing Motel 6 room registration logs for illegal immigrants, they're now hunting down anyone with brown skin and foreign sounding accents for detention and deportation. Forget all that huddled masses crap. The warm welcoming embrace has been rescinded. So, don't come here. America is no longer a safe haven from a life of torment, torture and tyranny. Today's message is clear. Just GTFO and take your mother with you.

While showering Donald Trump with compliments like; "he's sharp as a tack" and "smart as a whip" may garner a few short-term gains from the temporary influence, one should understand those lies could destroy one's credibility and eventually one's future. If you doubt this assessment, just ask butt sniffers like Shawn Spicer and Anthony Scaramucci or worse, a House Nigger like Omarosa Manigault. None of them will ever resurrect themselves or respect themselves again. Podcast below.

Any verifiable revelations of Donald Trump's incapacitating psychoses would destabilize a world already on the brink of chaos. To fully understand the horrific potential of Trump's impulsive, insecure, thinned skinned, vindictive, narcissistic and egocentric nature, is to fully understand how precarious the world's predicament is. At any second, the international community could be told the United States is at war with North Korea, Iran or both at the same time. We could also be told nuclear weapons have been authorized for use in these wars. What do you think that'll do to global financial markets.

Until "We the People" come up with a plan to impeach, indict or otherwise incapacity Trump from further damaging the country and threatening all our futures, the entire world will live in fear of what this maniac will do next. And we need that plan soon,

Fortunately, nothing is irreplaceable. Therefore, you can take comfort in the fact that RetroVision Media is working to do just that. When we return after our scheduled Winter Break in mid January, we're plan to challenged Black America to step and support Black News. We're going to spearhead a national effort to fund News programming that focuses on Black life and issues in America. So, you can expect a major push for donations and other means of support to keep Black News alive and thriving in this country and beyond.

While its far too early to say if this new policy toward North Korea is a quiet recognition of Kim Jong-un being the newest member of the world's nuclear bomb club, or just a slick ploy to catch Pyongyang off guard, this latest development, deserves due attention. At the very least, the concession to talk without preconditions could delay a very stupid decision fraught with unimaginable and lasting consequences.

All things considered, the outcome of Syria's civil war appears to be an embarrassment at best for the U.S. and the West. After all the bellicose calls for Bashar al-Assad's head on a platter and the hundreds of billions in dollars spent to train, arm and equip anyone with a pulse to help make that happen, Assad survives, his nation's sovereignty intact and Russia has established a significant foothold in the Middle East. And while this major accomplishment is essentially being ignored in the Western press, the value of this story wasn't missed by the astute observer.

To put it mildly, Donald Trump F#@k-Up Big Time and what's worse, he can't fix this. The Palestinian leadership has now deemed the United States to be blatantly biased toward Israel and a dishonest broker for peace. Having lost all credibility, the United States is no longer welcome at the negotiating table. In the Palestinian's view, no partner for peace is better than the one they've relied upon up until now.

Whatever the Trump administration may have intended to accomplish with this radical shift in its policy toward the Israeli-Palestinian peace process, but the immediate results as well as the long-term outlook appears to have missed its mark miserably. But, this should have been expected from a leader so ill informed and ill prepared to engage in international affairs.
