The Card Counter (2021) is our fourth and final (for now) episode of Schrader-thon 2022!
The Canyons (2013)! Welcome to Schrader-thon part three!
Cat People (1982) is part two of Schrader-thon! Get excited!
Part one of Schrader-thon is here! American Gigolo (1980) marks Schrader’s third directorial effort, and Richard Gere’s very first full-frontal appearance (but certainly not his last).
Come to Daddy (2019), directed by Ant Timpson, is our 24th episode! There's a real bad Daddy in this movie. And Elijah Wood, obviously.
Get Rich or Die Tryin' (2005): directed by celebrated Irish playwright Jim "My Left Foot" Sheridan, you'd expect a bit more "bravery" here but hey, listen to us give our two cents (or half-dollar) about this 'just fine' addition to the genre.
Can't Stop the Music (1980): directed by Nancy Walker. If there's one thing you can't stop, it's the music. You can't stop the music. Jesus, please, will you just STOP the music?? Equally, you can't stop Steve Guttenberg in a pair of rollar-skates blading his way to his dreams in a cringeworthy performance as the Village People's Producer. In this pseudo-biographical tale of how the disco group came to be, we realise everything that surrounded them was a complete joke (literally).
The meme seen all around the world! That's not really any of our business. We get into the nitty-gritty of the Oscars this year, acting as a bookend to our coverage on Jane Campion's POWER OF THE DOG and... well... not much else really.
Wow. Stuart Gordon's FORTRESS. Join us as we fawn over this epic masterpiece!
We're uncovering Ridley Scott's latest work: THE LAST DUEL (2021)! Be warned, we aren't kind...
In the spirit of JACKASS releasing a supplementary feature film to accompany the mainline entry as a .5 we've done the exact same. Enjoy Jackass: The Movie - FOREVER.5!
Welcome to Jackass (The Movie - Forever)! We invited our friend Josh Martin of Orlando Pop-Up Movies and Uncomfortable Brunch to dive into the genius of all 4 Jackass films.
A cultural phenomenon has hit our podcast table and it's called The Crying Game. The 1992 film directed by Neil Jordan definitely is problematic, especially for our trans friends around the world. Hopefully you'll still enjoy it for what it is, I know we sure do!
A Room With a View (1985), made in one of the greatest years cinema had to offer. Did you even know there was full-frontal in this movie? Well, there is. A LOT. Dive in with us as we welcome our very first guest and disect this romance.
The Terminator (1984), you've seen it. Right? Good. We finally get to break down Arnold Schwarzenegger's first and only full-frontal, but this is basically an excuse to watch and talk about The Terminator.
