Summary: "Rational Preparedness"   will discuss all aspects of disaster preparedness as they impact a family.   "Jane of Virginia", a college instructor, registered nurse, writer, and farmer, wife and mother of five, will share her thoughts and some admitted biases, as she speaks, and on occasion interviews guests on everything from raising and educating healthy children in a deteriorating society, to dehydration avoidance in hot weather,  gathering of documents for evacuation, food storage and rotation, the benefits of silver and gold,  to strategies for avoiding pandemic flu, or caring for a sick loved one at home. The focus will be intelligent self sufficiency, and preparedness for disasters, man-made, natural, and even those economic.  It promises to be an interesting and lively hour.
