Summary: As part of a two-day program on leadership, The National Constitution Center welcomes Philadelphia's own General Anthony Zinni for a discussion about his ideas on leading people toward a common goal based on his experience as a soldier, a four-star general, and the adviser to the State Department on Middle East peace. Most recently, General Zinni has been in the news for strongly stating his position that a hasty retreat from Iraq would be unwise—though he was a vigorous opponent of the Iraq war. He has aligned himself with Senator John McCain and President George W. Bush in advocating for a "surge" of troops in Baghdad.
