Summary: An accountant working the rackets gets capped while ratting to Mike Shayne on the phone. Cops are convinced the rat had the goods on all of the shady business contacts, but all they found on the guy was a copy of Alice in Wonderland. With the crooks thinking Mike knows more than he's letting on, they put the snatch on his secretary and hold her until he cooperates.
