You’re navigating new situations and trying desperately to fit in with the crowd. So, if you have a teen at home… try to extend some grace and compassion for their plight. Sarcastic cutting remarks don’t help at all. Make every effort to nudge them toward independence, confidence and control. But bear in mind the battle raging inside their bodies… trying desperately to fit in and play the part.
