Guild Wars Reporter Episode 37 – Quaggans Everywhere!

Guild Wars Reporter show

Summary: Chris and Celeste wildly speculate what's coming with coming Lost Shores update.   What We Did This Week Celeste: Gave in and had ben do the clocktower for me Got to 400 cooking and gained 10 levels for it on my elementalist and got to 300 jewelry making on my main Chris: Ding 64 on my warrior. Crafting is still an issue for me. So far I’m really LOVING the personal story, and can’t wait to make different choices and see how things are different on another character. Don’t spoil it for me internet!   Lion’s Arch Report Lost Shores Announced https://www.guildwars2.com/en/the-game/releases/november-2012/ does that mean the Sea of Sorrows Book will be released soon? Another one time event, this time it’s a whole weekend the beached whale in LA make me so sad, I feel like the kid that’s crying next to one some sign posts in LA hint at a kraken type foe that could be “Bubble’s” lieutenant (http://dwpgaming.blogspot.com/2012/11/gw2-im-forever-blowing-bubbles.html) 3pm est fri-sat-sun https://forum-en.guildwars2.com/forum/info/news/Lost-Shores-Heads-Up MMORPG Interview with Colin Johanson http://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/12hh55/notes_from_mmorpgcom_interview_livestream_with/ medium sized map with a new type of dungeon that gets harder the further you go in (reminds me of the the end of TL1 but with no way to send your pet out) http://guildwarstemple.com/dragontimer/   Ask An Asuran Get Past Campers in Eternal Battleground http://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/12nqa6/get_past_campers_in_the_eternal_battlegrounds/ I had noticed that the Mad Memories provided a light source, unfortunately it doesn’t work during the Pirate Puzzle (Weyandt’s Revenge) in LA but it will work during the Eternal battleground puzzles that you have to complete for cheevos. I was unaware that people were griefing there but this youtube video (with some mild cursing) does give you an idea of how to get around without getting bothered and actually gives you some ideas of how to get through and do some actual pvp since these puzzles are, of course, located in WvW. “Are you the mesmer?” “Yup” “Ok” awesomesauce. I’m not one for trash talking afterwards though :/   Tales of Tyria http://gw2cartographers.com/ Request for community events of the week/bi-week. Send us an email! If you’ve got a burning question for our Ask an Asuran segment, please let us know! Email A couple quick thoughts for ya'll :) 1.  if you've discovered something, you should be able to craft it if you have all the component parts, but it should calculate it all the way down to the raw material level.  So if you're trying to craft a set of gloves, no more insignia + glove part 1 + glove part 2 - just calculate all the raw mats & craft it up for a brotha! 2.  The ability to filter items by crafting level is nice, but not all that useful unless you remember every corresponding level for every character vs apprentice to master levels.  Some additional filtering options would be really useful: * character level - 'anything equipable for xxx level'- NOT current level, makes it useless for crafting for alts * stat(s) - power, vit, toughness, mf?  let me filter that!  i need to see all level 30 gear w/ magic find ---  etc. great podcast by the way, keep on truckin! - Sweet Lou Email Hi Chris and Celeste, MMO reporter fan here. I apologize about how late this comment might be, but I have been catching up on past episodes. I can imagine some good reasons that some players to prefer Guild Wars 1 over Guild Wars 2. Although it sounds like a sequel, Guild Wars 2 is a radically different game from Guild Wars 1. It retains some elements of the older game, but it discards such features as dual-classing, heroes, and instanced world zones. It also adds some features that GW1 players might not like, such as the action combat system (with all that ducking and diving),
