With his wife Raphaela Niehausen, the two are responsible for the the creation of the annual film festival DOC NYC whose 3rd season begins November 8th. They also program th documentary film series, Stranger Than Fiction. In addition, Thom is the documentary programmer for the Toronto International Film Festival.
