Summary: This Sunday on Vectis Radio 9pm-12 we will be talking to some of the parents who have endured years of uncertainty and heartache whilst their children have been under the specialist care of the surgeons and staff at Southampton General Hospitals Children’s Cardiac Surgery Unit. An NHS review now threatens this unit with closure and this group, who clearly understand and value and necessity of the place are not about to sit back and let that happen without a fight. A selected few have agreed to talk to us live on air and not only give us their stories but also reiterate their concerns.
