Summary: Three conductors speak about the music they are performing with the London Philharmonic Orchestra in April 2010 at Southbank Centre's Royal Festival Hall. As part of The Bernstein Project festival, Festival Director Marin Alsop conducts Bernstein's Symphony No. 2 with soloist Nicolas Hodges. Principal Conductor Vladimir Jurowski introduces Myaskovsky's Sixth Symphony, and Yannick Nézet-Séguin explores the musical links between the works in his programme of 10 April. Plus: this month's featured release is Principal Guest Conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin's first appearance on the LPO Label.
