First, we spoke with Cliff Schecter, of Libertas LLC (and more!), about his take on this week's Vice-Presidential debate. Cliff's expert take on politics and PR provided a great analysis of what effects the debate will actually have on the outcome of the election. Next, we heard from K.C. Boyd - author of Being Christian, A Novel about how the Religious Right has co-opted the American political system and why it matters. She shared her insightful perspective on how and why the GOP manipulates religion for political purposes. And finally, Lizz Winstead, co-creator of The Daily Show and author of Lizz Free or Die, joined us to talk about her new project "A is For...". Lizz is an amazing advocate of women's reproductive rights and manages to bring humor to a very serious issue - the current attack on abortion rights.
