NamasteRadio show

Summary: Dr. Susan Simpson graduated from York University in Toronto, Ontario in 1985 with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. She is registered in both Ontario and British Columbia, and has an extensive background in working with individuals recovering from sexual abuse and childhood trauma, substance addiction, depression and anxiety states, stress related challenges, relationship issues, pain management and health issues, as well as trauma arising from accidents and violence. She works with people from all walks of life who seek solutions to life’s challenges. Susan became a psychologist in order to learn the secret of what life was all about and how it all worked: who are we, why are we here and how do we make it better? Always researching for methods and approaches that help people to heal and expand their consciousness, she has trained in a wide variety of techniques including Jungian depth psychology, cognitive psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, breath work, EMDR, meditation and energy psychology. When the traditional approaches of psychology failed to produce answers to those fundamental questions, Susan expanded her search to include the emerging fields of neuroscience and neurofeedback. In 2006, when Susan encountered Brain State Conditioning, she knew that she had found what she had been looking for, the ultimate tool to help people to achieve the fullest potential of who they are. Susan is currently Clinical Director of the Valentus Health Clinic in Victoria, B.C., where a team of health professionals offers a positive approach to wellness based on leading edge technologies. The core program at this clinic is a neurofeedback technology called Brain State Conditioning, which helps people to re-balance their brains so that they can live the full potential of who they are. Susan is very excited about this new emerging field of neuroscience and how our new knowledge can help in expanding consciousness and spiritual growth.
