Summary: <p>Shrunken Head Lounge Surf Radio Show Running Time: 29 minutes 30 seconds</p> <p>The Venice Beach Muscle Club</p> <p><img border="0" hspace="10" vspace="10" align="left" src="http://theshrunkenheadlounge.com/images/venice_beach_muscle_club.jpg"></p> <p> </p> <p>In their attempt to capture sounds similar to the surf classics of the 60's the VBMC recorded the majority of the album live and decided to keep modern production techniques to a minimum. </p> <p>Although the members all enjoy many different styles of music, they found it refreshing to get away from complexity and were excited to keep it limited to four people and their instruments.</p> <p>Drawn to the surf style through common elements found in music from 60's garage and vintage rock 'n roll, to lounge, jazz, flamenco, and punk, this instrumental surf rock group formed in early 2005. </p> <p>Their desire was to draw on all of the above influences and fuse them together in the surf genre. <br>Their diverse tastes have created an eclectic mix of songs that retain a vintage surf sound. </p> <p>Members:<br>Evan Dawson Guitar<br>Melina Coppa - Guitar<br>Todd Martin - Drums<br>Michael Sandlin - Bass</p>
