The Drum Are Runnin Last Saturday night we visited Clem's Marina and Pier and within about 30 minutes 3 oversized Black drum had been caught. Visit Fishin Tales for the photos and details of these great catches. We boated by the pier Saturday afternoon and you can see that the pier is loaded with anglers. Puerto Rico Tarpon Fishing Tarpon fishing in Puerto Rico was quite an adventure with Captain Jeff. We caught one Tarpon that looked like about 20 lbs but were unable to pull him in the boat. As he got next to the boat he was able to flip his sharp gills around the leader and cut through.This is an in-shore fishing area where you'll see Tarpon rolling their sides above the water everywhere.
