Making Fishing Lures Ernie Butler, Owner of Snoopy's Pier, shares with JustGoFishin his passion for making fishing lures. This year he's celebrating Snoopy's 30 years in business --but he believes its been longer. I had a great time learning more about Ernie and his artificial lures he makes. Ernie invited me to jump in his truck and he took me to his home where he has all his fishing collectibles and more. Some people may not know about his unusual pet. Yes, he has a peacock and feeds him cat food. He said he just showed up one day and never left. As you learn in our podcast that making a fishing lure is quite a process. Ernie over the years has refined this unique fishing lure to be very successful in catching fish. Ernie insists that there not for sale, his currently working on a 80 piece set for his Grandson for the last 2 years, and has about 20 left to make. Land Cut Fishing Trip Last item of the day is the part 2 video of the speckled trout we caught at the land cut last week. Last week we should a black drum my wife caught.
