Weekly Web Tools show

Summary: (http://weeklywebtools.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/videoscribe250.png)We all know that videos boost sales. We can do the old Powerpoint with Camtasia (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008EQUD4U/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B008EQUD4U&linkCode=as2&tag=weeklwt-20)trick, but if you're looking to stand out in the crowd that is not going to do it. You want something that looks like you went outside of the box to make a video. When you look into having a custom video made, you quickly find that its beyond your budget. A video at http://www.explania.com can be around $5,000. Until now. Video Scribe (http://www.weeklywebtools.com/videoscribe) allows Unlimited Videos for $22 a Month ($15 if you purchase a year in advance) Now you can tell your story and show your products as a journey as a hand draws your service right in front of you. It's the ease of PowerPoint, only WAY COOL (www.weeklywebtools.com/videoscribe). All the tools you need to create your video are here. You can plug in a microphone (I recommend the ATR2100USB (http://www.schoolofpodcasting.com/2100) for $49) and record your voice over. Then position the images and text to align with the audio. You can even add built in royalty free music into the background to add that polish to your video. You even have the ability to adjust the volume levels of the music so it's not too loud. Yes, it's that cool. There is a PC and MAC version, and even an iPadd app. You can add your own images, or choose from a large collection of drawings. The company is based out of the UK (so us pricing is based on the conversion rate). They also do plugins. I just discovered their elegant page builder plugin (http://www.elegantthemes.com/affiliates/idevaffiliate.php?id=4473&keyword=drag-and-drop&custom=20650). This reminds me of Builder from iThemes, and to a certain extent Thesis as it allows TOTAL customization.   You simply drag and drop modules into your design these include: * Buttons * Lists * Content and Image Sliders * Light Boxes * Cool Quotes * Testimonials * Paper callouts * Video * Boxes (shaded backgrounds). You can adjust the width of a module, and even specify that a column is 1/3 of a page (as an example). It's hard to explain besides say it looks pretty darn cool, and pretty darn easy. There is a video further down the page. The pricing of this is slightly different. You can't just purchase this plugin. You have to become an elegant themes member (a pricing strategy I'm not a huge fan of, but none the less it's still a good deal). It's $89 a year (http://www.elegantthemes.com/affiliates/idevaffiliate.php?id=4473&keyword=drag-and-drop&custom=20650) and you get access to EVERYTHING they do (plugins, themes). If you compare this to iThemes Builder Developer pack ($197) you are saving some cash. Elegant Builder Plugin Demo Video Tungle.me Proves Free is a Bad Business Model (http://www.bookingbug.com/images/ads/150_banner.gif)Tungle.me is going away, so if you were using the free service for having your clients schedule your time it's time to find a tungle.me alternative. I've spoken about this in the past. Bookingbug is a great tool that is VERY flexible for $14 a month (and you can charge for the consulting as people schedule your time - cool) For more information check out my post about tungle.me alternatives (http://weeklywebtools.com/podcast/tungle-me-alternatives)
