Summary: Alberto Villoldo, Ph.D. is trained as a psychologist and medical anthropologist. He began his research in the Amazon, working with medicine which led him to the high mountains of the Andes and the Inka medicine people, where he discovered a group of healers who specialized in treating illness before it manifested in the physical body.
