Summary: Ryan Garcia knocked out Oscar Duarte in round eight in his return to action last weekend. Today we will discuss Garcia’s performance and ask ourselves why he just seems to be uncoachable. Ryan Garcia has had two of boxing’s best trainers in Eddy Reynoso and Derrick James and he just seems to do what he wants. All criticism aside, Ryan Garcia did make good adjustments that put him over the top but does he really have what it takes to beat some of 140’s best like Teofimo Lopez, Regis Prograis and Subriel Matias? I don’t think so. Ryan Garcia’s return after losing to Gervonta Davis may not have been as spectacular as fans have wanted but he did get back in the ring and score a knockout.
