Summary: David Fairs is a photographer, filmmaker, painter, illustrator, and digital artist living and working in the Illawarra region South of Sydney. Obsessed with the ocean, documenting the beauty of nature, David believes creators hold more value than our system holds true. Growing up on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, and being a keen surfer, the sea and water have always been close to his heart and this shows strongly in his art, with his main focus recently being on aerial surf and abstract wave shots. Formerly a creative director for a marketing agency, David has used many of the skills he learned in that field in making the decision to make art full time. He uses creative visualisation techniques such as story boarding etc to shape his creative vision and drive his business forward.
