Summary: College football is on the verge of undergoing massive changes in 2024: the College Football Playoff is expanding to twelve teams, the USC Trojans and UCLA Bruins will jump from the PAC-12 to the Big 10, and the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners will part ways with the Big 12 and join the SEC in 2024, one year ahead of schedule. But the changes to the Southeastern Conference don't stop at just adding two more members; the SEC will likely do away with divisions and make changes to the annual schedules.
