It wasn’t until he earned a role in a small indie film when he realized acting was a career he wanted to pursue in life. After a small stint in theatre, Romaine would make the transition to film and television when he got cast in numerous short and independent films. His first big break came when he appeared on his first network show in the Canadian drama series MURDOCH MYSTERIES (CITY/CBC). Since then, Romaine has amassed a significant body of work in several other film and television productions including 12 MONKEYS (SYFY), BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (THE CW), SCHITT’S CREEK (NETFLIX/CBC), PRIVATE EYES (GLOBAL/ION), THE GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE (STARZ), THE MIST (PARAMOUNT), THE STRAIN (FX), STAR TREK DISCOVERY (CBS), SHADOWHUNTERS: THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS (NETFLIX/FREEFORM), LITTLE DOG (CBC), Canadian sci-fi horror film ANTISOCIAL and action feature SCRATCH.
