Summary: After watching a few episodes of the amazing show, One Day at a Time, I had a realization when discussing prejudice and how race/class results in differences in criminal justice outcomes. I recorded my thoughts on how underlying the race/class discussion might be underpinned by a greater cultural bias towards consumers versus producers which also explains how many other conflicts are framed and play out in today’s society.
