Green Eyed Monster Audio show

Summary: There are many elements to a good public speech. Overlook them at your peril. TRANSCRIPT; There is an important question that every public speaker must be able to answer: Why should the audience care about what I am going to say? If you can’t answer that question, you have a problem. Either you are speaking to the wrong audience or you are giving the wrong talk. Another important element - you need to enjoy your self while giving you talk out at least look like it. If you look bored, then the audience will think you are bored and you’ll lose them. And if you’re bored by the topic, then why should anyone listening be interested? So when you’re introduced have a smile on your face, stride out to the lecture ,make it seem like you’re happy and glad to be there (even if you’d rather be at home watching Netflix). If you feel confident enough to do so, add a little humour (as long as it’s appropriate). Humour will help you relax, and break the ice if the room is feeling a little tense or unfriendly. and the important thing is after every presentation , take some time to think about what worked and what failed. If it went well, consider the elements that made it go well. If it went badly, analyse where and how it went wrong so that next time you can change your strategy and ensure the same thing doesn’t happen again. By reviewing every performance you can fine tune your presentation - that’s what the pros do.
