Summary: <p><strong>For students interested in pursuing a healthcare career to serve communities in need both international and domestically, the process of finding an organization and travelling can be complicated yet incredibly rewarding. Aaron and Rasa speak with Dr. Amy Blair, a well-traveled faculty member at the Loyola Stritch School of Medicine about her global experiences who provides stories of her service experience abroad and tips for students to find their own path to international service.</strong></p> <p><strong>Dr. Amy Blair is an Associate Professor of Family Medicine and Assistant Dean of Medical Education at Loyola Stritch School of Medicine and practices Family Medicine in Maywood, Illinois. She became the Director of the Center for Community and Global Health (CCGH) in 2008.  Dr. Blair became involved in global health training as an undergraduate and continued to seek experiences to immerse and serve in local and international communities throughout medical school and residency. As a faculty, she has been a visiting professor and volunteer clinician in local and international settings in Central America and the Caribbean, South America, and Southern Africa.
