38. People, Personality and Personal Branding

Summary: An unexpected part 3 to my personal branding conversation. In this episode I discuss the concept of building your personal brand based around your personality as well as the importance of establishing strong relationships with other people. It’s all too common online to see people build their brands solely around their businesses, but in doing so they’re sacrificing a genuine connection with who’s following them. Think about this, if someone is following you only for your expertise in a niche specific business, and then you change businesses all together, do you honestly think they’ll continue supporting you?
