Summary: A little over two years ago I was in a terrible place emotionally, mentally and physically. A friend of mine's prompt for me to listen to Jocko Podcast helped me re-shape my mindset and was the catalyst I needed to make myself get up and get after it.  Building a garage gym doesn't take much as I'll explain in this episode.  The real work is taking the first step and steeling your mind day after day.  I hope this episode helps others in a rut realize they are not alone and that the path to change can be a few steps away in their garage. "Between the Slides 5" key garage gym elements for this episode: * Mindset - Nothing happens without YOUR decision to make the change. * Kettlebells - One of, if not the most diverse and low cost options for improved health and fitness. * Bar - free standing, wall mount or a pipe in the rafters. This develops real human strength. * Jump Rope - Speed rope or one with handles.  Get warmed up or some great cardio with these. * Resistance bands - Diverse to tone, build some strength and to shore up joint and supportive muscles.
