Moses did not want the job. He told God he had the wrong guy and should send somebody else instead. But God knew exactly what He was doing. Moses's lack of qualifications was irrelevant, because God would be with him, providing everything he would need to get the job done. All Moses had to do was trust in God and obey His instructions, and the plan would work out perfectly. For those of us who feel unqualified or afraid to do God's will, the story of Moses reminds us that He is always faithful, always with us, and always gracious to provide what we need.
