Summary: Both the Project Management Professional (PMP) and the Planning Section Chief (PSC) are keepers of the process, relationship builders, and resource coordinators. While both have their unique processes, paperwork and variable work environments, the soft skills necessary to establish, foster, and maintain relationships are directly transferrable across these two positions.
