BES Podcast Interview: Leanne Larson
Summary: My name is Leanne Larson and I am a mortgage Loan Officer based out of Las Vegas, Nevada. I began my journey in the mortgage industry in 1994 while I was living in California. In 1995 I relocated to Las Vegas from California with my loving husband who is also now a mortgage lender.<br><br>I have had many different positions within the mortgage industry including, ranging from Loan Processor, to Certified Automated Underwriter to Manager. Working with borrowers as a Loan Officer has always been my true calling and passion.<br><br>My main priority in my career is to cater to the needs and best interests of my borrowers. When I start the loan process with a potential borrower, I always ensure they understand the entire process from start to finish. We discuss any future goals my client may have in order to ensure the loan will fit their needs and be the absolute best fit for their particular financial situation.<br><br>Currently I’m a mortgage Loan Officer for Freedom Mortgage in the Las Vegas area at 2110 East Flamingo Road Suite 317, Las Vegas, Nevada 89119. In my 24 years of experience, Freedom Mortgage has been the best fit for me so far. Freedom Mortgage is the number 1 VA lender, and is in the top 5 lenders in the country. Freedom Mortgage allows me to work with FHA, VA, Conventional and USDA loans. On our VA Loan programs, Freedom does not require a minimum credit score on our VA loans and we follow VA Guidelines in regards to qualifying with ‘residual’ income vs. debt to income ratios. VA loans are my absolute favorite loans because nothing brings me more joy than being able to help the men and women who have served our country, get into the home of their dreams with a payment they can afford.<br><br>At Freedom we also have FHA programs that allow us to help borrowers with lower credit scores all the way down to a 550 median score, even 500 score on a case by case basis.<br><br>Another reason why I love working at Freedom Mortgage more than any other company is that we are a direct lender / mortgage banker, which makes it easier to be able to help more people become homeowners.<br><br>My pride in my accomplishments and experience in the mortgage industry is nothing compared to my pride in being a mom to my two (now grown) sons. My eldest son is a chef at a steak house on Fremont, chasing his dreams in the culinary world, as I have in the mortgage industry and my youngest son just joined Freedom Mortgage as a Loan Officer.<br><br>I am available before, during and after ‘business hours’ 7 days a week to help potential and current clients be as informed about their loans as possible.
