Summary: Welcome back to a new episode of Book Vs. Movie! This week, we are talking about the book/movie Mudbound which was written by Hillary Jordan (her debut novel) and directed by Dee Rees (Pariah, Bessie) who also co-wrote the adapted screenplay. The Margos are not too ashamed to admit that this particular story and film gave us a big case of the sads. However, we are so in love with the writing, storytelling and acting here that we had a very hard time figuring out which we liked better.
