Summary: <a href="http://www.pestgeekpodcast.com/podcast/enjoying-semi-retirement-daniel-d-dye-ii/attachment/pgp-173-enjoying-semi-retirement-daniel-dye-ii-more-to-come-2/" rel="attachment wp-att-52053"></a><br> <br><br> Daniel hold four Florida State Certifications: Termite and Other Wood destroying Organisms – Fumigation – Lawn and Ornamentals – General Household Pests and Rodent Control.<br> He is an Associate Certified Entomologist Emeritus with 41 years of pest management experience.<br> Daniel retired as the Training Coordinator for Florida Pest at the end of December 2017.<br> He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Florida Pest Management Association.<br> Although Daniel’s main expertise is in urban entomology, he has a keen interest in other insects, spiders and creepy critters found in the wild places.<br> When not chasing spiders and insects, Daniel and his wife, Yvonne, searches for herpetofauna (reptiles and amphibians) to photograph.<br> Daniel’s insect and herpetofauna photos have been published in several books and magazines.<br> He is the Webmaster of two very popular educational websites: <a href="http://www.floridabackyardsnakes.com">www.floridabackyardsnakes.com</a> and <a href="http://www.floridabackyardspiders.com">www.floridabackyardspiders.com</a>.<br> He plans to add more to his backyard series in time.
