Summary: Less than two weeks before its trial date, a landmark constitutional case about climate change skidded to a halt, as ordered by the U.S. Supreme Court. The 21 young plaintiffs in Juliana v. United States sued the federal government in 2015 claiming that it is knowingly endangering their rights to life, liberty and property by promoting a fossil fuel-driven economy.
