Summary: In Part II of our conversation with David Pickup, licensed psychotherapist and board member of the National Association of Reparative Therapists, he explains the “100% correlation” he has seen in his practice between ”trauma or unmet needs” in childhood and gender dysphoria and walks us through how the therapy works. Nonetheless, California and ten other states have banned the therapy for minors, supporting instead “gender affirming” care, i.e. drugs and surgery to change gender.
