Summary: What's the cure for the darkest, coldest days of winter in Wisconsin? Throwing a party in the 80+ degree, perfectly humid, Olbrich Gardnes Conservatory. Cocktails in the Conservatory is an event that happens every winter and I can honestly say it's one of my favorites. Where else can you feel like you've visited a tropical paradise along with good beats & delicious drinks? I was dj'ng directly in front of the carnivorous plants and they were clearly feeding off the energy off the dancefloor that developed in front of them later in the evening. As an added bonus I had many exotic bugs crawling on my & my equipment. I chose not to kill them since it felt wrong to kill a bug that might not be native to Wisconsin. All in all a great event.
