Summary: Richard has been practicing as an herbalist since 1997, with a background in both Chinese and Western herbal traditions and a passion for our native, local plants. He is co-founder and co-director of the ArborVitae School of Traditional Herbalism in New York City. Richard is a Council member of the American Herbalists Guild, and currently serves as Secretary and chair of the Committee for Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity.
