They severely dropped the ball with the Pokémon GO Fest ticket sales; the ticketing website didn’t even have a captcha… Scalpers are running rampant and Niantic doesn’t even seem to care. In fact, it looks like all the spoofer accounts that were recently banned with be coming back within the next 2-3 months. In other news, Niantic botched the end of the fighting event too; they accidentally brought Lugia back in raids for a little while. I wish I could say this was the end of the bad news, but its not. We have been eagerly anticipating Blast Burn Charizard, but Niantic has decided to nerf Blast Burn really hard. We’re still excited for shiny Charizard on Community Day, but this one hurts a bit. Niantic did have at least one win this past week; they increased max bag storage from 1500 to 2000. There might be some upcoming games that will be compatible with Pokémon GO, but information is scarce. All we know for now is that they are called Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokémon Let’s Go Eevee.
