Be Safe and Healthy wherever you are! 2013 New Year's Day Live Set (3 hours long beware before you on a mobile device and pay horrendous charges) Straight from the mixer, a 3 hour soulful, vocal and funky house extravaganza with all your favourites from 2012 and late 2011. It was sunny, on the early afternon of NYD, we were on our roof top, with a makeshift stand for the gear made out of an old plot printer from work, powered speakers just bought from the pawnbroker down the road and surrounded by close friends with whom we always try (rain or shine) to spend the first day of the year.. It had the feel of an original "House Party".. Above all, I wanted to avoid the disaster of last year, and I, therefore, selected the very, very top shelf of my vocal house (hand)bag House.. Nothing groundbreaking, all overground> This was not the time to be "clever"... The aim was to get my friends to come to me and say "oh I love this one", "this is one of my favourite", or "what is that? I love it".. well.. it might not have been underground and there were no edits nor acapellas, but I think I did achieve what I attempted.. We had a GREAT New's Day and this very simple, happy set made the Freemasons' one dimensional set later on very bearable.
