Awakening The Unknown- History and Haunts

The RIFT Radio Podcast Network show

Summary: Annie Tarpley is founder of History & Haunts paranormal research and investigative team . She also travels to haunted locations with her Not So Normal Paranormal Sisters. Annie's first ghostly encounter was when she was about 8 years old at which time she experienced her first shadow figure in the family home in rural South Carolina. Since the shadow figure encounter, Annie has always felt, heard and seen spirit . Until the last 12 - 15 years she kept most of what she experienced to herself or close friends. With the advent of paranormal shows, the uncommon has become common so she decided to come out of the paranormal closet to share experiences, conduct investigations and become a true historic researcher. She and her team take pride in knowing that their findings have many times connected the dots with historic documentation and hauntings. Annie, along with her team of professionals, have conducted well over 100 investigations both in private homes and public buildings . Recently, team members Lisa and Whit, along with Annie, visited the Stanley Hotel in Colorado and Ft. Laramie in Wyoming. She and her Not So Normal Paranormal Sisters have visited, over the last 4 years, at least 15 haunted locations including staying at haunted Inns , Bed and Breakfasts, ghost towns, asylums, hospitals and Civil War areas, just to name a few . These trips have been to West Virginia, Kentucky, Massachusetts, New York, Tennessee, South Carolina and of course their home State of Ohio. Annie has written a book about an investigation conducted in Georgia at a Civil War battlefield area which took 3 days/nights. She and her team in painstaking work and research, over the course of a year, connected the dots through historic research and paranormal investigation. Through their efforts , a long lost Confederate soldier finally found his way to his family . The book is yet to be released as it is in rewrite at the moment.
