Summary: Welcome to <a href="http://www.giantsizeteamup.com/pokemongopodcast/">Pokémon GO Podcast</a>! Charles and Joe are holding down the fort and braving the Twitch chat without Brian to moderate. The eggstravaganza event has come to a close, but those eggs were pretty sweet. On its tail we have research, Mew, and new ways to get legendaries. Moltres is available through field research, so now Charles will be able to get his own team’s mascot. We take a look at a step by step guide to getting Mew and Charles is dreading the fact that he needs to evolve another Magikarp; he is still scarred from Magikarp watch 2017. At least he doesn’t need to catch a Snorlax. One thing that’s awesome is that these research quests actually have Charles interacting with gyms! 8-bit sprites are in the game for April Fools’ Day, but they will be gone shortly; though we’re hoping they remain an option we can toggle on/off. Latios and Latias have joined us, but they are only available in half the world at a time. They will rotate on May 8th at which time they will remain available until June 5th. Niantic is going to be hosting a HUGE event in Germany this summer, but will it be a Pokémon GO event? They are expecting 100,000 people to attend! Hopefully it goes better than their last large event, since they are still being sued over that dismal occurrence.
