Erica Meier is the executive director of<a href="http://cok.net/"> Compassion Over Killing</a> (COK), national non-profit animal protection organization based in Washington, DC. Working to expose cruelty to farmed animals and promote veg-friendly eating as a way to build a kinder world, COK’s strategic efforts include undercover investigations, legal advocacy, corporate outreach, and public education.<br><br> <br> Then, Mariann Sullivan talks to Nil Zacharias about how climate change and feeding the planet are interconnected, the secret source of greenhouse emissions that few people are talking about, and his three-step mantra for saving the planet. Nil Zacharias is the co-founder of <a href="http://onegreenplanet.org">One Green Planet</a>, host of the popular podcast,<a href="http://www.onegreenplanet.org/eatfortheplanet/"> #EatForThePlanet with Nil Zacharias</a> and co-author of the book <a href="https://www.amazon.com/Eat-Planet-Saving-World-Bite/dp/1419729101">Eat For The Planet</a>.
