KoreanClass101.com의 금효민입니다. 지난 시간에는 문장 끝을 경상도 사투리에서만 사용하는 종결어미 "다," "데이," "더"에 대해서 알아봤었죠? 이번에는 지난 시간에 이어서 경상도 사투리에서만 사용하는 종결어미 "예"와 "소"에 대해서 알아볼거에요. 표준 한국어에서는 방문객을 맞이할 때에 '어서오세요!'라고 하죠. 하지만 표준한국어와는 다르게 경상도 사투리에서는 '어서오세예'라고 합니다. "오세예"라는 말은 "오세요"와 같은 의미이지만 좀 더 귀엽고 애교있는 말투입니다. 경상도에서도 남자보단 여자가 더 많이 쓰는 말입니다. 그리고 이 때, 발음시 '오세' 를 높은 음으로 발음 해 주면 더 자연스럽습니다. 예를 들자면, '어서 오세요'-처럼 말이죠. 한가지 더! 마이 드이소. 어떤 단어인지 짐작이 가시나요? 표준 한국어로는 많이 드세요 라는 의미인데요. 이 '마이 드이소'라는 표현은 남녀노소 구분 없이 많은 사람들이 사용하는 말입니다. 요즘은 종결어미 '예' 와 '소' 두 가지 다, 남여노소를 가리지 않고 구분없이 많이 쓰이기도 합니다. 자 그럼 또 한가지 경상도에서 많이 쓰이는 표현을 알아볼까요? "살펴 가세예" 라는 말은 무슨 의미일까요? 정답은! "살펴 가세요" 입니다. 조심히 집에 잘 돌아가세요. 라는 의미랍니다. 그럼 이 말은 무슨 뜻일까요? 조심하이소! 조금 쉬웠나요? 정답은 조심하십시오!라는 의미의 경상도 방언이었답니다. 경상도 사투리는 종결형 어미에 따라 많이 좌지우지되는 경우가 많습니다. 헷갈리지 않도록 이런 종결어미들 잘 기억해 두세요. 다음 시간는 종결어미 '꾸마'에 대해서 더 알려드릴게요. 그럼 좋은 하루 되세요! ----English---- Sentence-ending particles "ye" and "so" in Gyeongsangdo Korean. However, different from standard Korean, Gyeongsangdo locals say "Welcome!" ("eoseooseye!") The word "oseye" means the same thing as "oseyo," but it is a more charming and cute way. Therefore, females instead of males use this word more often. Also, it makes it a lot more natural when you talk in a high pitch on "ose." For an example, "Welcome." ("eoseoOSEyo.") One more! Can you guess what "please help yourself" ("mai deuiso") means? In standard Korean, it means "please help yourself." ("mani deuseyo.") This "please help yourself" ("mai deuiso") is used by people of all ages and both sexes as well. These days, the ending particles "ye" and "so" both are also used by every age and gender. Then, let's look up another popular phrase in Gyeongsangdo. What do you think this means…"Please go home safely." ("Salpyeo gaseyo.")
