Summary: The incidence of abused children becoming abusers is very high. Abuse does not necessarily mean being beaten. Incessant berating of a child is abuse but often not seen by the public as such. The strongest predictor of becoming an abusive parent is having felt unwanted by one's own parents. This episode will start with a discussion of two cases of abuse.
