Summary: Maryn McKenna is an independent journalist who specializes in public health, global health and food policy. She is a contributor to National Geographic, a Senior Fellow at the Schuster Institute for Investigative Journalism at Brandeis University, and the author of the critically acclaimed books Superbug (Simon & Schuster, 2010) and Beating Back the Devil (S&S 2004).
