Texas Straight Talk: If You Like The Surveillance State, You’ll Love E-Verify (7/1/2013)

Summary: In his most recent <a href="http://the-free-foundation.org/tst7-1-2013.html">Texas Straight Talk</a> column, former Rep. Ron Paul warns Americans against the implementation of E-Verify under the guise of comprehensive immigration reform. Federal 'officials' have sought to mandate a national ID card and other methods of biometric identification  for the last two decades. E-Verify will essentially give the President, and the federal government writ large, the means to control employment across the board. And it is another means to actively surveill dissenters, tax protestors and those with tax or student loan debts to the feds.
